NVIDIA GeForce 3D Vision Gets Rousing Endorsement From Game Development Community

CEBIT, HANNOVER, GERMANY — MARCH 5, 2009 — NVIDIA Corporation announces that NVIDIA® GeForce® 3D Vision™ technology, the world’s first high-definition 3D stereo solution for the home, has received a rousing thumbs up from the who’s who in the game development world. Now that the designers, artists, and creative forces behind the industry’s hottest games have had a chance to take 3D Vision for a test drive, they have been unanimous in their praise for this hot new technology sensation, currently on show at CeBIT in Hannover, Germany.

Forming the foundation for a new consumer 3D stereo ecosystem for gaming and home entertainment PCs, and powered by NVIDIA GeForce GPUs, 3D Vision is a combination of high-tech wireless glasses, a high-power IR emitter and advanced software that automatically transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D experiences.
