Three new NVIDIA® Quadro™ FX470-based solutions from HCL deliver unprecedented performance at an outstanding price for visual computing professionals

NEW DELHI — MARCH 24, 2009 — NVIDIA, the inventor of the graphics processing unit (GPU), together with HCL Infosystems has announced a new solutions aimed at the computer aided design (CAD) and digital content creation (DCC) markets. Based on the NVIDIA QUADRO FX470 GPU, HCL Infosystems Limited launched its new workstation ‘HCL Net Graph 108’& ‘HCL Infiniti Challenger 5150’.

Fully featured for mainstream Digital Content Creation (DCC) and Computer Aided Design (CAD) users, the NVIDIA Quadro FX470 includes:

  • Industry’s first unified GPU architecture designed to dynamically allocate geometry, shading and pixel processing power to deliver unmatched price/performance for OpenGL and Microsoft DirectX 10 professional applications
  • Shader Model 4.0 support enabling breakthrough ultra-realistic, real-time visualisation applications
  • Extensive qualification and certification in key applications, including AutoCAD, Adobe, 3dsmax, Inventor, Bentley, Solidworks and more, to maximise system uptime and productivity
  • Revolutionary CUDA parallel computing processor for high performance visualisation
  • Scalability and flexibility for multi-monitor support
